Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Fleet Service Technician in Jericho, NY. The role covers servicing delivery vans at client sites, performing oil changes, tire services, diagnostics and routine maintenance, with training for advanced repairs and state inspections.

Starting pay is market-driven at $25.00–$30.00/hr with a $1 shift differential. A 4-day or 5-day shift pattern is available, primarily in a night shift, at our Goodyear Fleet Service Centers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventive maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes, tire services and diagnostics.
• Learn and train to perform advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training for this role may occur in a customer retail environment prior to client-site work.
