Job summary

Modine is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the 3rd shift in Natural Bridge, VA. The role involves setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend and shape metal per blueprints, with quality checks throughout production.

Location is in person at 43 Douglas Way, Natural Bridge, VA, with a 10PM–6AM schedule and a starting rate of $24.23/hour plus a $1.50 shift differential; pay rises after nine months. Benefits and equal opportunity employer details are provided in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Production experience in a make‑to‑order assembly role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, assembly checks and CAD models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow supervisor/engineer instructions.
• Set up and operate CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.
• Set up other equipment as assigned.
• Fabricate parts using sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
• Read and use measuring instruments for quality checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary.
• Input CNC programs and adjust as required.
• Apply math to various job phases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
