Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is hiring for a facilities technician responsible for boiler operations and building systems. You will start, regulate, and shut down boilers, monitor controls, and perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Candidates should have a Class 1C boiler license, a high school diploma, and be able to work nights and weekends. Strong safety focus and data logging are required.

Qualifications

• Safety and security of self and others are emphasized.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Class 1C Boiler License is required.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) including weekends.
• Valid driver's license and capability to work with mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned tasks through completion with timely updates.
• Start, regulate, and shut down boilers; monitor controls and gauges.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and replace parts.
• Test boiler water and apply chemical treatments.
• Log data, report malfunctions, and maintain safety compliance.
• Inspect safety equipment and respond to emergencies.
• Maintenance and operation of HVAC, pumps, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Maintain records in CMMS and ensure quality/productivity standards.
• Operate and monitor the Building Management System.
• Perform basic repairs to maintain facility appearance.
