Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the BMT 5C Adult Department at University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank in Minneapolis, MN. The RN will provide pre- and post-transplant care for patients with oncologic/hematologic disorders, including high-dose chemotherapy, pain management, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Qualifications

• MN RN licensure required.
• ASN/ADN degree required.
• BLS certification for Health Care Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex care to adult patients undergoing blood and marrow transplantation.
• Perform advanced monitoring using current technology.
• Manage complex medication and infusion therapies.
• Caring for patients during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on the unit.
• Assess patient needs and develop an individualized nursing care plan.
• Coordinate care with the health care team and delegate as appropriate.
