Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related experience or training desired.
• Ability to read, interpret, and write standard operating procedures and manuals.
• Aptitude for computers and data entry; strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures Red Blood Cells (RBCs), Fresh Frozen Plasma and Recovered Plasma.
• Manufactures Neonatal RBCs and prepares Platelet products.
• Performs leukoreduction of Whole Bloods and RBCs.
• Manufactures Cryoprecipitate and related products.
• Labels products to meet regulatory and inventory requirements.
• Follows proper storage procedures for blood products.
• Performs QC and equipment checks as required.
• Works weekend/holiday rotations and on-call as needed.
