Job summary

Versiti Blood Research Institute seeks a production specialist to prepare quality biological blood components in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include late afternoon to night with weekend rotations, following SOPs and regulatory standards.

The role is full-time and involves working within a comprehensive rewards package. Responsibilities include manufacturing RBCs, plasma products, leukoreduction, and accurate labeling while ensuring compliance and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Equivalent required
• Less than 1 year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Responsibilities

• Manufactures RBCs, Fresh Frozen Plasma and Recovered Plasma
• Manufactures Neonatal RBCs and Platelet Apheresis products
• Performs leukoreduction of Whole Bloods and RBCs
• Labels products to meet regulatory and inventory requirements
• Maintains productivity to achieve production goals
• Works weekend, holiday rotations and on-call as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
