Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for the night shift to keep operation-critical bindery lines running across catalogs, commercial print, and educational materials. The role includes paid training and opportunities for advancement in a safe, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include setup and maintenance of small bindery equipment, reading job tickets, and meeting quality requirements while using tools and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible in fulfilling obligations.
• Must be able to troubleshoot when machine malfunction
• Must work well with others.
• Must be flexible and open to change when needed.
• Must have the ability to follow instructions.
• Must be proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pound
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• The ability 12 hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, set up and maintain small bindery machines and equipment.
• Operate bindery machinery to fulfill customer orders to quality specifications.
• Read and understand job tickets and related documentation.
• Interacting with supervisors to facilitate daily schedules.
• Meet or exceed goals on make readies, speeds, waste and efficiencies.
• Operate tools such as wrenches, gauges and tape measures.
• Monitor machine operations and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management
