Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the night shift 7pm–7am. No prior bindery experience is required; we’ll train you to operate high‑speed bindery equipment and join a fast-paced, hands‑on production team on-site.

You’ll help meet daily production goals, maintain quality standards, and learn safety procedures while earning overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Mechanical incline and comfortable using basic tools
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes)
• Pride in doing quality work
• Reliable and works well with a team

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders)
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
