Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients through admission to discharge, including safety monitoring, interventions, and group leadership. The role emphasizes collaboration with clinical teams and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• One or more years experience in mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assists Nursing staff with duties as directed (patient supervision, vitals, room searches, etc.).
• Provides supervision and support to patients during meals and daily activities.
• Leads daily groups as directed by facility leadership.
• Performs documentation including shift notes and group notes by end of shift.
• Ensures safety, maintains confidentiality, and supports treatment planning and discharge processes.
