Job summary

Tufts Medicine Behavioral is seeking a full-time Night RN to join our new Malden, MA facility. The role includes admissions support, clinical intake assessments, and utilization review to ensure appropriate care levels.

Compensation ranges from $42.95 to $51.28 per hour, with night shift differentials of $7.00 during weekdays and $8.00 on weekends. Nursing licensure and active RN status are required.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license as required by state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Ensure nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission and tailored to needs.
• Administer medications per orders and document controlled substance counts.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, co-workers, and others.
