Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift position in our care pathway program. The RN provides direct patient care, collaborates with physicians, and adheres to established policies and procedures to achieve the patient’s plan of care.

Minimum qualifications include MA RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred. The role involves performance improvement initiatives and professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required by department.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical practice.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor the plan of care.
• Manages patient assignments and delegates based on team needs.
• Develops educational plans for patients and families and documents per standards.
• Supports patient/family rights and informed decision making.
• Continuously revises care plans with changes in health status.

Education

Massachusetts RN Licensure

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Department Specific: Certification(s) relevant to the department

Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
