Qualifications

• Experience Required: 6 to 12 months experience or successful Giant Eagle Apprenticeship.
• Experience Desired: Prior experience working in Bakery or related industry.
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench work and prepare products according to scratch recipes.
• Bake products to specified time and temperature for freshness.
• Prepare bakery items and ensure correct size and shape.
• Provide exemplary customer service and assist guests in locating products.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all bakery areas.
• Assist in maintaining bakery backroom, coolers, and freezers.
• Record special orders accurately and respond to guest questions promptly.
