Job summary

EVCO Plastics is seeking an Automation Technician for our night shift to keep production running reliably by maintaining and optimizing automation and controls systems on D Shift (7pm–7am, Wednesday–Friday and every other Saturday). You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and implement focused improvements to strengthen automation performance.

Qualifications

• Experience programming PLCs and debugging automation systems.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Experience with controls hardware and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with PC design software.

• Document program/configuration updates and coordinate with technicians/engineering to restore operation.
• Monitor automation performance and implement improvements to reduce downtime.
