Job summary

ARMOR-IIMAK North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 12-hour B shift (Sun, Mon, Tue and every other Saturday) at our Kentucky plant. You will service industrial equipment, troubleshoot systems, and support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize uptime and productivity.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously and with a team in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Degree in applicable field preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics; CAD experience a plus.
• Flexibility to work an altered schedule as needed to accommodate business needs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install systems and components on industrial machinery and equipment following codes, manuals, diagrams, and other specifications using hand tools, power tools and testing equipment.
• Completion of mechanical equipment repairs/troubleshooting, including bearings, general machine parts, pneumatic systems, and piping systems.
• Document and complete maintenance work orders in a work order management system listing labor hours, parts used and detailed record of completed tasks.
• Continuous Improvement of PM Programs to maximize equipment uptime and increase productivity.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with all organizational policies, procedures and regulations.
