Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Automation Technician II for the Nights shift at the Asheville, NC site. You will perform preventative maintenance on automated production equipment, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley/Siemens, robotics familiarity, and the ability to read schematics. Night shift, 12-hour rotations, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus are included.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in automation/industrial maintenance.
• Minimum 3+ years in automation maintenance in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on automated production equipment (robotics, conveyors, PLCs).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic.
