Perdue Farms, Inc. is hiring an Automation Controls Technician to design, program, maintain, and optimize automated and robotic systems on the manufacturing floor. You will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot control processes, support new technology, and enhance equipment capabilities.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates to support a smooth transition. This role offers a $7,000 hiring bonus payable over your first 12 months, with a schedule of 11:00 pm -

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 8+ years experience in industrial automation, controls, PLC programming and troubleshooting, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding and practical application of PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and industrial control systems.
• Certifications such as CAP or Certified Control Systems Technician are advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, control devices, instrumentation, and process control.
• Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification.
• Fanuc CSE or Master Certified preferred.
• Pallet/Pick Tool and Programming (Fanuc Robotics).
• Line Tracking Setup (Non-Vision) (Fanuc Robotics).
• KAREL Programming (Fanuc Robotics).

Responsabilidades

• Design, program, and implement automated control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in automated/robotic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on AC/DC/Servo Motor Control Systems and Instrumentation Control Systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of control systems and equipment.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system changes.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting control system issues promptly.
• Collaborate to design and integrate automation/robotic solutions.
• Test and calibrate instrumentation and control devices.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance schedules for automation equipment.
• Monitor and optimize control system performance.
• Install and configure/program industrial robots and robotic systems (PLCs and HMIs).
• Ensure safety regulatory compliance and standards for robotic equipment.
• Provide training and support to operators on control system usage.
• Mentor and train other Maintenance Technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement.
