Job summary

First Quality is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Programmer to design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain automated control systems across manufacturing lines. You will work with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to optimize performance, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 2+ years of PLC programming experience, HMI/SCADA development, and robotics programming knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• 2+ years of experience programming PLCs (Allen‑Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, or similar).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA software development.

Responsibilities

• Program, develop and improve PLC programs for production, process and packaging equipment.
• Configure and improve HMI screens for operator control and monitoring.
• Maintain and support robotics systems integrated into production lines.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new automated equipment and production lines.
