Job summary

Nestlé Health Science seeks a multiskilled technician to maintain and troubleshoot process control and automation equipment. You will support electrical and automation engineering functions, assist capital and process improvement projects, and work on day shift (7:00am–7:30pm) ensuring continuous plant operations.

Responsibilities include documenting equipment, reducing unplanned Downtime, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, and cost metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two-year Technical/Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or three years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with automation systems for building, facility, packaging, utility, and process controls preferred.
• Experience with Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal; machine motion control programming like servos and VFDs preferred.
• Experience with HMI systems, preferably Allen‑Bradley FactoryTalk View, Wonderware InTouch and ArchestrA platform preferred.
• Experience with instrumentation calibration or ISA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate documentation of all electrical and automation platforms, equipment and unplanned machine stops.
• Understand factory processes and key systems (Industrial Services, Quality).
• Analyze performance data to reduce unplanned stops on electrical and automation equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve KPIs (safety, quality, cost, service) in E&A systems.
• Provide technical support for maintenance and line maintenance activities.
• Operate and troubleshoot systems like Utility/Energy Management, Quality Control, SPC, and Advanced Process Controls with cross-functional teams.
