Job summary

Serv-U-Success is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Lafayette, IN area. You will lead teams, ensure daily operations, coach staff, and deliver superb store execution. The role includes night shifts 8:00 pm–7:00 am and requires weekday and weekend availability.

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive safety, customer focus, and project completion. You’ll develop people, manage store projects, and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused culture where contributions are

Qualifications

• Two or more years of retail, grocery, merchandising, or customer service experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including merchandising, product resets, remodels, and special projects.
• Lead assigned shifts and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members while reinforcing company standards and best practices.
• Monitor project progress and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Build positive relationships with customers, store leadership, and team members.
• Promote a culture of safety by modeling safe work practices and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Utilize company technology and reporting systems to support daily operations and project execution.
