Baptist Downtown is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Heart 4 North Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care team. This is a full-time night shift opportunity, 7p-7a, offering leadership in patient care and staff development.

The role requires an RN with ACLS/BLS, strong nursing management experience, and the ability to coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges, as well as shift assignments.

Qualifications

• 2 years hospital nursing experience required.
• Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
• BLS required.
• RN license required.
• ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Nurse Manager with unit operations.
• Collaborate with direct care staff to deliver quality patient care.
• Serve as an expert clinical resource.
• Facilitate admission, transfer and discharge flow.
• Lead change implementation and staff development coaching.
• Assign shift-to-shift patient care.
