Serv-U-Success in Defiance, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach teams, and ensure projects are completed with excellence. You'll partner with the Store Manager to deliver top-notch execution and a safe, customer-focused environment.

This full-time night shift role offers competitive pay starting at $18–$20 per hour with an extra $1 per hour for nighttime hours, and requires availability on weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two or more years of retail, grocery, merchandising, or customer service experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including merchandising, product resets, remodels, and special projects.
• Lead assigned shifts and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members while reinforcing company standards and best practices.
• Monitor project progress and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Build positive relationships with customers, store leadership, and team members.
• Promote a culture of safety by modeling safe work practices and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Utilize company technology and reporting systems to support daily operations and project execution.
