Job summary

Serv-U-Success, Michigan, is seeking a full-time night-shift Manager on Duty to supervise staffing, prioritize work, and ensure projects are completed in a single shift in coordination with the Store Manager and on-demand personnel.

The role requires merchandising and reset skills, reliability, and open availability, including weekends and holidays. Training and scheduling follow a Sunday–Thursday pattern with 8:00 pm–5:00 am hours (training may be 7:00 am–3:30 pm).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED. Additional education a plus.
• 2 - 5 years in a service industry, with some supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Results-oriented. Organized & methodical. Enjoy learning and change.
• Utilize technology – weekly phone stipend is provided.
• Open availability – able to work both weekdays and weekends as well as holidays.
• Depending on the specific position, a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a DMV check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Function as the “Manager on Duty” in the absence of, or in collaboration with the Store Manager, assuring proper staffing and prioritization of work needing completion.
• Utilize outside On‑Demand and Temporary people resources when required to quickly support ongoing projects or prepare for future requirements.
• Schedule each week’s work to ensure accurate completion and best-resource utilization.
• Monitor project results and verify completion to the customer’s satisfaction within the same shift.
• Understand Plan‑O‑Grams, schematics, and other documents required to complete projects.
• Demonstrate strong merchandising and reset skills across categories within the store walls.
