Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, is seeking a security-focused team member for a shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, at our Dayton fulfillment center. You’ll help protect assets, monitor access, and respond to emergencies while upholding company policies.

The role emphasizes loss prevention, safety training, and adherence to regulatory guidelines, with opportunities to advance within TJX’s global network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; related experience preferred
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
• Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
• Computer skills preferred
• 1–2 years of security or loss prevention experience is a plus
• Background in Criminal Justice coursework or education is a plus

Responsibilities

• Protects the Company’s assets including associates, merchandise and property
• Monitors all ID badges for entry/exit to facility and warehouse
• Monitors visitors, vendors and contractors entry/exit
• Controls sample merchandise, RTV, damage and charity product per guidelines
• Monitors/installs/alerts for Fire Alarms/Burglar Alarms
• Ensures trailers are properly handled at gatehouse and yards
• Responds to emergencies per policy and assists in evacuations
• Prevents 0% physical security breakdowns
• Conducts loss prevention, safety and shrinkage awareness programs
• Ensures policies and procedures are followed; reports unsafe conditions
• Investigates dishonest acts, accidents and paperwork errors
• Conducts safety and security tours of the distribution center
