Job summary

PacAero is seeking an Assembly Technician I to join the night shift team in Washington. The role involves assembling components and subassemblies to exact specifications, inspecting parts, and using microscopes and precision measuring tools to ensure quality.

Training on day shift is provided for 1–3 months, with a $2.00/hour night differential after training. The position requires basic computer skills, ability to read engineering drawings, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Essential: able to read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings and documentation.
• Must be able to operate microscopes and precision measuring tools.
• Proficient in using hand tools and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies per drawings and procedures.
• Operate machines and hand tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow PPE requirements.
• Communicate progress and issues to leads/supervisors.
