Job summary

Wastequip is seeking Assembly Operators for our Statesville, NC facility on the 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM). The role involves performing secondary operations such as trimming, labeling, flame treating, and assembly, with quality checks to meet production targets.

The position pays $17.00 per hour plus shift differential. Applicants should be 18+, able to stand for long periods, and capable of lifting 25–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to stand for long periods on the job.
• Able to lift between 25-50 lbs.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Previous assembly experience is preferred.
• Be able to pass EHS training.

Responsibilities

• Execute secondary operations per instruction on production orders including trimming, labeling, flame treating, assembly work and quality checks.
• Stack cans up to 29 lbs and ensure required paperwork is completed.
• Communicate with operators and co-workers regarding work orders and quality issues.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and wear PPE as required.
• Push carts and move stacks of cans as needed for production flow.
