Job summary

Wastequip WRX in Statesville, NC is seeking an Extruder/Compounding Operator to set up, run and monitor extrusion lines to produce resin at the desired output. This 2nd shift role runs 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM with a base pay of $22.45 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a forklift license, and strong safety and reporting discipline. You will perform production reports, quality checks and adhere to 5S standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Forklift license is required.
• Ability to climb ladders and operate in an industrial environment.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up and shut down extrusion lines to produce resin at target output.
• Monitor equipment for maintenance and safety issues.
• Write and maintain production reports.
• Operate blender per schedule and check resin quality.
• Maintain clean work area following 5S standards.
