Job summary

Qualitrol is seeking an Assembler for the C-shift to assemble and test components, operate a variety of equipment, and ensure quality standards. You will rotate among cells as needed, train on A shift first, and help maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

Role requires basic English reading/writing, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year in assembly or lean manufacturing. You will pack finished products and participate in cell improvements, contributing to on-time shipments and product

Qualifications

• Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment preferred.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.
• Must be available to train on A shift prior to moving to C shift

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Packs finished product for shipment.
• Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
