Job summary

Millenniumsoft, Inc. is seeking an Assembler 1, General in Sumter, SC for a 12-month assignment. Shift is 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., with a 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off pattern.

Climate-controlled environment and lifting up to 50 lbs are required. A high school diploma or GED is required. Pay rate starts at $15.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential. Eye exam is required before start; vision must meet 20/30 with/without correction; color vision test may apply.

Qualifications

• Candidates with prior work experience in a manufacturing environment are preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Eye exam required prior to start; 20/30 vision with/without correction; color vision test may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in the Sharps Department while meeting quality and safety goals.
• Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper labeling per specification.
• Participate as a team member to support daily Sharps Department operations.
• Maintain acceptable quality and quantity levels on all equipment.
• Perform quality checks as required by specifications.
• Keep accurate production, downtime and quality records.
• Notify maintenance of equipment malfunctions.
• Use Batch Numbers as assigned in SAP.
• Stamp batch numbers on cartons with correct product info.
• Perform general housekeeping duties during shift.
• Adhere to safety and Quality Systems Requirements (QSR).
