Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Sumter, South Carolina seeks an Assembler 1, General to operate, optimize, and changeover assigned production equipment. You will meet production standards, maintain product quality, and minimize downtime while sustaining budgeted waste levels daily.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, a high school diploma or GED, and prior manufacturing experience is preferred. Eye exam may be required; the work environment is climate controlled, with a shift from 8:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• High school diploma or GED required for this assignment.
• Climate controlled work environment.
• Eye exam required; 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses; color vision test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in the Sharps Department while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety goals.
• Operate all packaging equipment and ensure proper packing and labeling per specifications.
• Participate as a team member to support daily operations of the Sharps Department.
• Maintain equipment within acceptable quality and quantity levels.
• Perform quality checks as required by specifications.
• Maintain production, downtime, and quality records accurately.
• Notify technical personnel of equipment malfunctions.
• Use Batch Numbers in SAP and stamp them on cartons correctly.
• Follow safety, environmental procedures and Quality Systems Requirements (QSR).
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout shift.
