Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Sumter, South Carolina, seeks an Assembler 1, General for a 12-month assignment on a 12-hour G shift (8am–8pm). The role demands a strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a climate-controlled environment.

You will operate production and packaging equipment, perform quality checks, record downtime and production data, and use SAP Batch Numbers. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and steel-toed or composite footwear.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient with basic hand tools.
• Knowledgeable of feeler gauges and other tools to measure tolerances, torque, and clearances.
• Should be familiar with cams, cam-followers, rod-ends, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes.
• Vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, ball-valves.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment with the Sharps Department, while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety goals.
• Operate all packaging equipment, ensuring that product is properly packed and labeled per specification.
• Participates as team associate in activities required to ensure successful daily operations of the Sharps Department.
• Operates all equipment at acceptable quality and quantity levels.
• Performs quality checks as required by specifications.
• Maintains accurate production, downtime, and quality check records.
• Notifies technical personnel of equipment malfunctions.
• Utilizes Batch Numbers as assigned in SAP.
• Stamps Batch Numbers on shelf cartons and case cartons with correct product and batch information.
• Performs general housekeeping duties throughout shift.
• Observes all safety and environmental procedures and Quality Systems Requirements (QSR).
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and required to support the needs of the business.
