Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a shift supervisor to lead, coach and mentor production teams in an aseptic manufacturing environment in Clayton, NC. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time execution of plans while guiding personnel and addressing issues that affect output and compliance.

The role emphasizes development of team members, adherence to standard procedures, and collaboration across shifts to continuously improve operations. Strong leadership and GMP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in manufacturing, preferably pharma.
• Supervisory experience required; internal NN leadership programs may be considered.
• Experience with GMP/quality requirements and process improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, productive workplace.
• Promote adherence to quality objectives and specs.
• Coach and mentor work cell leaders and team members.
• Provide direction and motivation for shift teams.
• Manage personnel issues and vacation planning.
• Perform process confirmation for standards compliance.
• Collaborate across shift teams to improve processes.
• Other accountabilities as assigned.
