Job summary

ACTS Airport Services is seeking Aviation Security Officers for the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. The role supports national security by controlling access, screening individuals and vehicles, and responding to incidents.

Full-time hours include the 6:00am–2:00pm shift with comprehensive benefits. Qualified candidates will have at least a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in contract security, military, or law enforcement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two (2) years verifiable contract security, military or law enforcement experience required.

Responsibilities

• Control access to restricted airport areas for authorized individuals.
• Screen and log persons and vehicles at restricted points.
• Conduct vehicle inspections at perimeter access points to secured areas.
• Screen employees, vendors, visitors and belongings with x-ray, hand wands, or magnetometers.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and provide escorts as needed.
