State of Oklahoma is seeking a PRN Advanced Certified Medication Aide (A-CMA) for night shifts at the Sallisaw Veterans Home. The role involves direct and indirect patient care under nursing supervision, with responsibilities including vital signs, ADL assistance, and basic nursing tasks.

The position is part-time and temporary with a pay of $33.00 USD per hour, a $0.87 per hour shift differential, and 12-hour shifts from 6:30pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• English language proficient for effective communication.
• Knowledge of health/public health services and record-keeping.
• Ability to record observations and report changes.
• Basic nursing techniques and sanitation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs and assisting with daily living.
• Charts observations and reports pertinent changes in patient condition.
• Performs delegated or specialized functions as trained.
• Escorts patients to and from destinations.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Orders, receives and stores supplies and performs basic clerical tasks.
• Participates in follow-up activities and tracks clients.
• Provides health outreach and recruitment of at-risk individuals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
