Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Med Surg / Telemetry Charge Nurse (RN) for a nursing role in Valley Park, Missouri. The unit is 17 beds in Unit 5200 Acute Care Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (South Campus).

The role is full-time nights on a 3-shift-per-week schedule with every third weekend. Eligible benefits include sign-on bonus, BSN differential, shift differentials, 401K, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• 2–5 years nursing experience
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver direct patient care on a 7pm–7am shift
• Assess patient needs and escalate changes to the interprofessional team
• Develop and implement plans of care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Mentor junior staff and support clinical resources on the unit
• Uphold safety and quality standards as a safety-sensitive position
