BJC HealthCare's Barnes-Jewish Hospital unit 5200 Acute Care Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7pm–7am) on a 3-shift-week schedule, with every third weekend. The unit supports a 17-bed acute care team and emphasizes professional development through a structured career ladder.

Qualifications

• RN license (Licenses & Certifications)
• Minimum 2–5 years nursing experience
• Preferred 5–10 years nursing experience
• BSN differential noted in benefits

Responsibilities

• Facilitates identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization, at discharge, and into ambulatory care.
• Leads development and implementation of complex care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Champions evidence-based practice and supports knowledge dissemination within the unit.
• Evaluates patient and family experience and adjusts care to improve satisfaction and outcomes.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe practice.
