Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Denver, PA. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and respond to security-related concerns at a retail location, delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, delivery personnel, and/or visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and delivery documentation as required by site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned retail areas, entrances, receiving locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
