Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a skilled Technician, Show Systems Surveillance, to perform nightly preventive, diagnostic, and corrective maintenance of A/V, projection, laser, and network equipment across the resort.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, hands-on experience with CMMS, and the ability to train junior technicians, with a focus on safety and reliability of show systems and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of audio and video theory and practical training/experience.
• Advanced knowledge in setup and ongoing maintenance of A/V systems.
• CTS certification preferred and considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on resort A/V, projection, laser and network systems.
• Diagnose failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and safety.
• Log inspections and repairs in CMMS and maintain proper records.
• Train new technicians on venue-specific PM work orders and procedures.
• Respond to downtimes and recovery issues while following safety rules.
