Job summary

Conrad Nashville is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests and team members and uphold safety programs. The role involves patrolling, monitoring, incident response, and collaboration with the Director of Security and EMG team to maintain a secure hotel environment.

Requirements include 18+ years, reliable transportation, and licensure or certification such as the Tennessee Unarmed Guard license and Dallas Law Certifications; a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Tennessee Unarmed guard license.
• Must have or be able to obtain Dallas Law Certifications in accordance with Tennessee State Law.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Upholds and enforces Emergency policies and procedures for security.
• Conducts routine checks for fire, health, and safety across all areas.
• Delivers proactive, courteous security service to guests and staff.
• Walks property, performs continuous security rounds and inspections.
• Completes and maintains security logs, shift reports, and permanent records.
• Investigates work-related incidents and coordinates with HR.

Education

Tennessee Unarmed guard license

Dallas Law Certifications (per Tennessee State Law)

High School Diploma or GED
