Job summary

Hall Cabot Properties is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) for a commercial office building in Lowell, MA. Shifts run Fri–Tue, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, with overtime as needed. You will patrol, monitor cameras and alarms, and oversee tenant suites, common areas, and parking facilities.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and able to interact courteously with tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff. Uniforms and training are provided, with benefits starting at hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a federal non-DOT drug screening and background check prior to employment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with tenants, visitors, contractors, and management.
• Complete scheduled foot patrols of the property.
• Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and common areas.
• Provide assistance and direction to contractors, tenants, visitors, and customers as needed.
• Enforce property rules and prevent unauthorized access and trespassing.
• Report safety, security, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
