Job summary

Elite Security & Staffing seeks a professional Overnight Security Officer for a retirement community in Escondido. You will work the overnight shift, maintain a visible security presence, and protect residents and property.

Responsibilities include patrols, incident response, and detailed reporting with GuardPro. Must hold BSIS PTA certificate, CPR, and have strong observation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BSIS PTA certificate and required training documentation
• CPR Certification required (proof to be provided)
• Experience with GuardPro reporting system preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift
• Strong observation, communication, and decision‑making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and staff
• Maintain a visible security presence through continuous foot patrols
• Monitor and protect client property and ensure a safe environment
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
• Complete detailed reports and documentation using GuardPro
• Communicate clearly and professionally with management and residents
• Follow all site procedures and security protocols
