Hyatt Regency New Orleans is hiring a Security Officer to join our overnight team in downtown New Orleans. You’ll patrol the property, respond to incidents, monitor surveillance, and assist guests with safety needs to sustain a safe, welcoming environment.

We value calm, professional conduct under pressure, strong communication, and a commitment to guest service. Prior security experience is preferred; nights, weekends, and holidays shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to remain calm, observant, and professional in high‑pressure situations.
• Strong communication skills and a guest‑service mindset.
• Experience in security field preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and positive environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests, colleagues, and assets
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
• Document and report all security‑related activity accurately and thoroughly
• Assist guests and team members with directions, escorts, and general safety needs
• Monitor surveillance systems and access points to maintain secure operations
• Collaborate with hotel leadership and local authorities when necessary
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures with professionalism and fairness
• Uphold the welcoming and guest‑focused environment that defines the Hyatt Regency New Orleans
