Job summary

Allied Universal in Ellenwood, GA seeks a Security Officer Patrol Observation and Reporting to protect clients in logistics and distribution settings. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence.

Responsibilities include access control, responding to incidents, documenting patrols and observations, and communicating with site leadership. Requires at least one year of armed security or related experience, high school diploma, and ability to pass background and drug

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other locations.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to management.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate information to site leadership.
