Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Computer or tablet proficiency preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws; drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailers, yards, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and vehicle/pedestrian activity; report unusual conditions to leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe facility activity, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
