Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ohio Driver's License.
• One year of experience in Criminal Justice, Private/Public/Military Security and/or related law enforcement fields OR Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive monitoring of timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
• Deter vandalism, theft, and property abuse through routine patrols of hospital property including parking areas.
• Protect patients, visitors, and caregivers by providing escorts and removing safety hazards.
• Enforce hospital facility policies (parking, visitation, drug enforcement, tobacco policy).
• Maintain knowledge of alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness procedures.
