Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to join our Protective Operations team. This PRN role supports patient, visitor and staff safety, performing patrols, searches and incident response across the hospital and parking areas.

You will work with qualified officers, participate in drills, and receive mentorship while developing expertise in security operations in a major health system setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ohio Valid Driver’s License (VDL) and eligible insurance.
• One year of experience in Criminal Justice, Private/Public/Military Security and/or related law enforcement fields OR Ohio Peace Officer Training (police) Academy Certification.
