Park Hyatt Washington is seeking an experienced security professional for a Part-Time Overnight Security Officer II role. This position supports an elite luxury service team and plays a vital part in guest and colleague safety.

The role requires weekend overnight availability, strong communication, and the ability to handle incidents and emergencies with professionalism. Starting wage is $25.00 per hour with a $0.50 night differential.

Qualifications

• Strength and endurance to stand and walk for extended periods
• Prior security experience strongly preferred
• Elevated verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Enforces rules and policies with respect and professionalism
• Uses tactful and diplomatic communications with guests
• Resolves conflicts with the use of de-escalation techniques
• Analyzes situations accurately and implements an effective course of action
• Identifies and investigates suspicious behavior and irregular activity
• Conducts foot patrols of designated areas
• Utilizes CCTV systems for surveillance
• Responds to alarms and requests for assistance
• Responds to medical emergencies, renders aid, and relays information to EMS
• Other duties as assigned by the Security Manager

Key Responsibilities

The Part-Time Overnight Security Officer II provides for the safety and security of the hotel’s guests and colleagues. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required. Weekend overnight shift availability required.

Starting Salary

Starting hourly rate of $25.00, based on experience, plus a $0.50 per hour overnight shift differential

Overnight Shift

Overnight shift availability on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 pm to 7:30 am, including holidays
