Park Hyatt Washington is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Security Officer II to safeguard guests and staff at the Park Hyatt Washington hotel. The role requires weekend night availability and provides an hourly wage with an overnight differential.

The successful candidate will follow security standards, complete incident reports, and join an elite luxury service team. Prior security experience is preferred, with strong communication and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in security protocols.
• Ability to operate CCTV systems.
• Strong conflict de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforces rules and policies with respect and professionalism
• Uses tactful and diplomatic communications with guests
• Resolves conflicts with the use of de-escalation techniques
• Analyzes situations accurately and implements an effective course of action
• Identifies and investigates suspicious behavior and irregular activity
• Conducts foot patrols of designated areas
• Utilizes CCTV systems for surveillance
• Responds to alarms and requests for assistance
• Responds to medical emergencies, renders aid, and relays information to EMS
• Other duties as assigned by the Security Manager
