Job summary

Shaner Hotels operates the Courtyard Faro Blanco Resort Marathon on the beautiful Florida Bay, seeking a security professional to patrol, monitor, and protect guests and staff. You will handle safety procedures, assist with incidents, and coordinate with hotel operations to maintain a secure property.

The role requires a high school diploma, a year of public-facing experience, and strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; college degree or vocational training a plus.
• Minimum 1-year prior experience in a similar position dealing with the general public.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to endure abundant physical movements and ensure security of persons and property.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees and to minimize opportunities for loss or damage.
• Acts to deter any agent or element from jeopardizing persons or property in or about the hotel's facilities.
