Job summary

Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) – Woodward Resource Center is seeking a Security Guard 1 for night shift supervision 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. The role focuses on ensuring safety, operating the CCTV Genetec system, logging observations, and enforcing facility policies.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CCTV systems and monitoring for safety.
• Ability to accurately log observations and incidents.
• Understanding of policies and procedures governing security and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV Genetec Security system to ensure facility safety.
• Log observations accurately and follow incident reporting procedures.
• Enforce rules of behavior and respond to safety incidents per supervision guidance.
• Communicate with supervisors and emergency services as needed.
• Complete required training on Security/Surveillance, Privacy, and Restraint policies.
