Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Rapid City, SD. The position involves maintaining a safe environment through access control, patrols, and client interactions, with a schedule of 42 hours per week.

Wage starts at $19.50 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K, insurance, paid time off, and more. Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends and pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years age required.
• Above average computer/tech skills needed.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must work independently.
• Must stay calm and professional during stress.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance.
• Professional demeanor.
• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and escalation.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug test and background).

Responsabilités

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Access control duties.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature for assigned site.
